Editorial design for the exhibition catalogue “Infinite Creativity for a Finite World”

The ExpoAction ‘Infinite Creativity for a Finite World’, which took place from 30 March to 16 April 2021 at the Folie n°6 in the Parc de la Villette & at VilletteMakerz as part of ‘100% L’Expo - Sorties d’Écoles’, aims to highlight the unique capacity of design to actively engage in the co-construction of a desirable future, to seek out, reveal and enhance ‘common sense’ through modest and sober practices whose resilience has been proven over time. More than just an exhibition, ExpoAction offers visitors the chance to delve into the heart of a wide range of current initiatives led by a new generation of designers committed over the long term to promoting collective creative impulses, to reveal the power of the social bond.It affirms the need for a ‘civic design’ that enables ‘active’ spectators to experience and measure the day-to-day impact of their actions, and above all to reap the benefits of their collective resonance.Taking as its starting point situations that are socially, politically and economically vulnerable, complex and conflictual, co-design is capable of directing and enhancing the infinite creative impetus inherent in each individual through responsible, concrete and restorative actions that respect the fragility of human beings, living beings and the finiteness of the planet through the construction, or ‘composition1’, of a sustainable relationship with others, with time and space, with the environment and with the world.
